What is a Liberating Structures Immersion Workshop like?
I am co-designing and delivering a two day immersion workshop on Liberating Structures in Berlin on March 19 & 20, 2020.
Liberating Structures (LS) form a foundation of my work with teams and organisations. By using small, conscious changes in the way groups interact and collaborate, LS enable everyone in the session to be fully engaged and involved, including remote participants. They overcome limiting behaviours and patterns in thinking and interacting, and they enable focussed discussion and decision making through engaging, energising, and fun practices.
In two intense days you get introduced to a large number of Liberating Structures and get an idea of the range of possibilities that Liberating Structures open up. There is no single way to address many complex challenges so we make sure we are covering a wide variety of structures.
While you build your capacity to shape your future cooperation and collaboration in a novel way, you meet others who came for the same reason. Liberating Structures get you into many interactions with different people. These workshops are a catalyst for community building, new business partnerships and even friendships.
LS Immersion Workshops are designed and led by a team representing a variety of backgrounds and maturity of practice. Our team for upcoming workshop is formed of experienced practitioners from the Berlin LS community who use LS daily in their work with NGOs and social causes, the education sector, and the tech sector (Tasman Papworth · Ina Zukrigl-Schief and myself).
LS pioneers Anna Jackson and Fisher Qua join us leading the workshop. They bring profound experience in applying LS to the challenges in associations, charitable organizations, the public sector and education, as well as businesses of all scales.
We are looking forward to having you!
