Real-time visualization in virtual workshops
I love how visuals can organize our work as a group. So that’s why I invest quite some time into developing canvases that hold the complexity of a collaboration on a given topic on a virtual whiteboard.I am noticing that harvesting data and getting it into the whiteboard in a participatory way slows down more than necessary. But it doesn’t need to! Virtual whiteboard tools like Miro or Mural make integration of massive amounts of data quite effortless. Just have the data separated in cells and then you can copy & paste it to your board - it magically transforms into sticky notes.
So you could do a data-collection using Zoom chat, put it into a spreadsheet and take it from there to your board - if only there weren’t those timestamps and who posted the note. Louis Sweeny progammed a little hack in Google spreadsheets that is helping you over this last hurdle.
Here is a video I captured after our Liberating Structures Immersion Workshop in German language that shows you how.
A big thank you to Louis Sweeny - you rock! He is one of the many reasons I just love the Liberating Structures community! Join us here: http://www.bit.ly/lsrhizome
